On tap at O'Rourkes in South Bend, served in a shaker.

Pour: Pretty hazy amber orange with a finger and a half off white head. Leaves a little bit of lacing.

Smell: Grapefruit, pine, lots of caramel.

Taste: Caramel maltiness, citrus, light tangerine, light pine. Too malty for me.

Mouthfeel: Mild bitterness, moderately drinkable.

Overall: Ok, but not great.

Hazy orange, decent initial head, some lacing.

Bread, caramel and citrus in the nose.

Bread, caramel malt, orange rind, grapefuit and earthy flavors. Serious balance here, folks.

Creamy full mouthfeel, easy drinker.

Not a hop bomb yet very flavorful and pleasant. Really nicely done actually.

A-Very cloudy orange, carbonated, two finger head

S-Dirt, pine, citrus notes, malt and hops.

T-Balanced with caramel malt, earthy notes, nice citrus as well. Good level of bitterness.

M-Medium bodied, nice level of carbonation and crisp.

O-A great IPA, lots of different hop flavors balanced with malt. Glad I took the risk without the bottle having a bottle date.

Wonderful bottle from Dark Horse. Pours a robust golden orange with a finger and a half mostly white head. Mild lacing and less than average head retention.

The nose is heavy on the grapefruit. A little piney hops but also a toasted bread aspect to it. The nose is really pleasant. I want to bathe in this beer.

Taste is good as well although I'd say that the nose had me wanting just a bit more. The main stay is grapefruit and tangerine. The hops are there but aren't quite as prominent as I would have thought. There is a good balance of maltiness and bitterness on this beer. You know it's an IPA but the hoppy bitterness isn't punch you in the eye apparent.

Mouthfeel is medium and carbonation is light. I like the balance of flavor and overall lack of booziness that this beer brings. I think it's a great beer for the style. I have a feeling that the sixer I bought might be older than I would have liked it. I'd like to visit this brewery and have a glass straight from the teet.
