Pours a murky brownish amber color with a half finger of off white head.

Smell slightly citrusy, floral and a wee bit of malt aroma. Not the most aromatic IPA out there.

Taste is bitter up front with some nice citrus, bittering pine, finishes with a linger bittering note.

Mouthfeel is what you would expect for a IPA, medium carbonation.

A good IPA, not perfect or my top choice but certainly a good one to switch it up with.

Pours a hazy peach copper color with a two finger cream head that dissipates fairly quickly.

Orange, grapefruit, and resiny pine lead the aroma with support from an almost toasted malt background.

Citrus hops open the flavor profile. Tropical fruits...pineapple, grapefruit pith, mango fade to a bitter resin finish. The bready malt backbone supports the hop assault without dominating.

Body is moderate with moderately high carbonation and no astringency.

Overall, a very interesting ipa. The fruity hop flavor is more complex than most. Refreshing change from the typical American ipa. Not quite as extreme in flavor.

Slightly hazy woody orange body with some particles. Small rising head has fallen, and there's not much evidence being left behind. Mere blobbed dribbles of lace. Pretty color.

Massive pine hop aromatics coupled with some tart grapefruit. A true product of dry-hopping. Salty cracker of a malt residing below. Remarkable hoppy with a sappy touch.

Stirringly bitter and winningly clean. Nice dry punch of woody pine with an abundance of hop oils abound. Grapefruit, secondmost. Little trickles of earthiness and a sweet wafery malt that holds up rather well to the hoppy assault. Big flavors. Long bitter finish that's a little steely.

Oily and sappy. Fizzy on the tongue, not in the glass (although, I must note that I now make out some bubble streams shooting upward). Nice round body. Disguised strength. Winning feel.

Another absolutely solid IPA from the trusty state of Michigan. Further proof that the style is done justice on this side of the Mississippi.

Pours hazy yellow with strong head. Smells of straight pine and hops, with a bit of pale malt sweetness (especially on tap). Slams you with bitterness up front, pine, lemons, pine, and finishes with more. Highlights hops very well, very little balance from the malts. However, when I had this fresh on tap it tasted much more balanced, with beautiful sweet light malts to accent the big bitter--plenty of citrus in that case that really lightened up the bruising palate. Must like bitterness for this one. On point for wrecking the palate.
