Pours a red color, kind of hazy with a good head leaving sheets of great lace. The aroma is nice when you can get it, but it's a tad faint and fairly driven by fruity hops. The flavor is more fruity and citrusy hops with a bit of biscuit maltiness. Overall the bitterness level is what makes this beer particularly enjoyable.

Appears cloudy, looks a lot like apple cider with a finger of off white head. Smells citrusy, sweet and a touch grassy. Taste is slight citrus hop at the front, sweet malt in the middle with a slightly bitter citrus hop finish. Good and refreshing. Drinkability is very high with this one, exceptional beer and I could drink the shit out of this all day long. Also, I'm pretty sure that Dark Horse donates a portion of each pint of this sold at their brew pub to help the local skate park. Very cool brewery!

Had on tap at Dark Horse....
A- Poured a hazy amberish color. Two finger frothy white head that showed medium retention. Sheety lacing on the sides of the glass.
S- Light citrus hops in the front of the nose. Light grassy pale malts in the middle of the beer. Floral hops in the ending of the nose. Overall, the aroma was a bit muted and the lowest part of the whole beer rating.
T- Citrus hops bounce first on the palate. Nothing over the top hop wise which I was surprised to be honest. Some light biscuty malts in the middle of the beer with some floral hopping in the ending.
M- Light-medium mouthfeel. Carbonation is fantastic I thought for the beer. Flavors were blended well together and came out more in taste as you drank more. Light citrus hops left on the palate with floral hops and light alcohol flavor on the aftertaste. Drying was a medium after each sip.
D- This beer is very drinkable I thought. A nice easy drinking beer during the warmer summer months. If Dark Horse wanted to put out a good pale ale this would be the one! Do yourself a favor and seek it out.

Had on draft at the brewery for the Crawfish Boil.
A-pours a hazy reddish copper color with a nice light tan colored head.
S-the nose is light, pale malt up front, notes of citrus with grassy hops behind.
T-light pale and crystal malts up front, notes of caramel, big hop presence behind. pine, citrus, lots of grassy hops in back, light bitterness in the finish.
M-smooth and creamy on the palate, syrupy medium body with a moderate to strong carbonation balancing.
D-this is a very tasty pale ale with a great hop presence in the back, solid feel and a very well done beer that goes done nicely on a warm day.
