Poured into a tumbler pint at Palmer's in LaGrange.
A - Wow, this is gushing out of my glass. Massive, billowing thundercloud of dark mocha head, which takes quite a while to settle, crowns a pitch-black brew. Pretty beautiful, actually.
S - A bit underwhelming following the sturm und drang of the pour. Roasted black coffee dominates, very hard to smell the blueberries, but they are there, if just barely.
T - Not sweet, which I like in a fruit beer. The massive roasted barley is predominant here, as in the nose. However, the supporting players feature a little more prominently. Coffee, dark chocolate, and yes, a lovely hint of tart blueberry show up and get stronger as the drink warms. This is really intense for a low-ABV stout, actually. It reminds me of some Impy Stouts with its deep roastiness.
M and D - Sits thicker on the palate than expected, again calls to mind a much bigger beer than it actually is. Creamy, full mouthfeel, finishes dry and with a hint of sweetness. A pleasure to drink, I'll definitely be looking for this again.

Poured from 12 oz bottle into snifter.
A: Pours black with a hint of grape and a small dark tan head that settled almost immediately. Zero lacing.
S: A little bit of blueberry and maybe a slight hint of chocolate. I was hoping for more.
T: Mostly some blueberry notes mixed with a little chocolate and roasted malts. Decent flavor but nothing special.
M: Medium body but kind of lightly carbonated considering ABV.
O: Good stout, but I was hoping for bigger nose and stronger flavors.
