A - Pours a slightly hazy orange/copper with half a finger of tan head and one incredibly disturbing looking floater. Head has decent retention, but doesn't leave much lacing.

S - Big tart peach aroma and a bit of funk. Some noticeable alcohol, but don't know what the abv of this is.

T - Like the smell, this starts with a big peach presence, both sweet and tart. A bit of oak dryness and lemon lemon tartness as well. Pretty nice.

M - Medium mouthfeel is a little heavier than I would like for the style. Finish is dry and tart.

O - A pretty good wild ale, but it is clear that this style isn't DH's focus or strong suit. I think I enjoyed the raspberry a bit more.

Thanks to bu11zeye for sharing this bottle.

The beer pours a hazy golden color with a white head. The aroma is heavy on the peaches with some bready malt mixed in. I don't get much, if any, sourness in the aroma. The flavor is a little bit better. I get some peaches with a light amount of tartness. Pretty dry and very refreshing. Easy to drink. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Nice American-made sour.

My bottle from an IP with Steve in Warren. Surprisingly good. Creamy head. Big oaky vanilla flavour that finishes with some peach and enzymes. Lacey. Towards the end of the bottle, The sour takes over the palate and the other flavours are overwhelmed, but it is a good satisfying sour.

750 mL bottle poured into a plastic cup.

Appearance - Huge chunks glugging into the glass. Murky orange with a small white head. Huge chunks of peach. It looks gross.

Smell - Harsh oak. Some vanilla. Peach. Some caramel malt.

Taste - Peach and harsh astringent malts. Oak is really strong. Really tough to drink.

Mouthfeel - Very astringent. Oaky. Sour. Medium high carbonation.

Overall - This is rough and downright gross looking.

Bottle shared by Sammy, 750ml into a tulip.

Hazy orange, offwhite bubbles for a head with mild retention. Nose is quite oaky, sharp acidity, mild peachy-white fleshed fruit character. Taste is oaky, vanilla, butyric with similar fruit character to the nose. Sweetish finish. Medium heavy palate, low carbonation with a gentle fizziness. Oak is almost overwhelming - this is one the right track to being something I'd really dig, but the lack of balance IMO makes it harder to take more than a few oz of.

A - Orangish beer with a bit of a white head that settled to a tight ring with a bit of lace on the sides.

S - Lots of peach on this one, which is quite nice. Some acetic tones and barrel, with a bit of tartness and funk. I like this quite a bit, if only for the very full peach aroma.

T - Taste has a lot of peach in it, and is a bit souring. There is a lot of juice and lactic sugary character to it that I'm not a huge fan of. Wish the taste was a little bit lighter. Still quite good though.

M - Heavier side of medium bodied, juice-like, with good carbonation.

O - Enjoyed the peach flavor on this one, but the mouthfeel and juice like qualities detracted a little bit. Wish it was lighter and more refreshing, like a more standard American Wild. Surprisnly good though.

Thanks for sending me this one, Derek.

Pours a cloudy golden orange color with a tall white head. Intense aromas of fruit to this one. Lots of peach which gives a slight sweetness, but also enhances the tartness. Lemon/lactic tartness as well as some mild straw and grass notes. The flavor is similarly heavy on the peach. Quite vibrant fruit flavor lending a little bit of balance to the intense sourness. Lemon and lemon zest as well as grass, oak, and some musty notes. Medium in body and carbonation.

Consumed at urwithdave's house, amongst many far greater beers. All the same, thanks for the share Dave.

A - It pours a burnt orange-amber, and is capped with some large soapy bubbles.

S - The nose is strange, and not so good. I do not get any fruit or wild yeast, just solvent, perfume and chemical aroma. There is a lot of alcohol in the nose, and some acetone. Nothing good.

T - The taste is significantly better, but is still perplexing. While there is some minor fruit tartness akin to tropical fruit taffy, the major flavor of this beer is butterscotch. I have never tasted such a butterscotch bomb in my life. There are also strong buttery notes of sherry. If this was intended to be some sort of EBW base, it is successful in that regard. As a Wild/Sour it is an abject failure.

M - The feel is inappropriate relative to the flavors. Too thin and fizzy for this butterscotch bomb.

D - This might be sort of okay, if, well, nevermind... It is not okay

A- Pours a nice, luminescent orange with a lot of large floaters... Which is interesting considering it hasn't really been moved for almost a year. The white head is thin but has nice retention.

S- Strong cider, funk, light nuttiness, and some fruit. Smells very tart and acidic.

T- Funky acidic cider, light fruit, and an odd maple syrup/nuttiness/butterscotch aspect. The tartness is fantastic, but some of the flavors are a bit odd.

M- Clean and tart with a lingering acidic aspect. The carbonation is nice and keeps it light without bringing too much bite.

O- The tartness is very nice but some of the flavors are odd. Definitely worth splitting a bottle.

Bottle shared by Carlos (Seaoflament), thanks! Snifter.

A: Hazy orange with a bubbly white head.

S: Sugary peaches and tangerines. Oak and vanilla. Lightly tart. Faint mustiness. Faint acetone note and a touch of honey, which is strange.

T: Peach and tangerine with a moderate citric acidity and a mouth puckering tartness. Light sugary sweetness throughout, with notable vanilla and oak. Finishes fruity and sweet. A whisper of acetone.

M: Upper light in body with upper low carbonation. Mouthfeel is smooth and sticky.

Overall: An enjoyable fruit sour. Much better than Whisky Richard.

Pours a deep golden amber with small bubbles on a tight white head. The nose is somewhat light, minerally up front, light salt, oak, hints of leathery brett and some bright peach aromas behind. The brett is stronger in the flavor, very leathery, green vegetables, dirty oak, sweet fuzzy peach. Light acidity on a semi dry finish. A bit heavy and syrupy, rotten vegetable notes linger. A few off flavors and a touch empty, not horrible though.

Thanks to TurdFurgison for this bottle.

Pours a pretty, hazy apricot hue with a quickly fading, fizzy white head. Looks pretty good, but there are a few chunks or pieces of something floating in my glass. Could possibly be some peach flesh that got through.

Smells pretty sour, slightly sweet and a little bit medicinal. A bit of funk in their and some sort of fruit. It's not necessarily a peachy scent, but fruity none the less.

Taste is like the nose, but is more twangy. More sweetness comes through as well along with that ambiguous fruitiness. A little funk in there and some slight bitterness. There is some lingering peach pit on the finish. Oddly enough it does leave my mouth feeling the same way an unripe peach would.

Pretty lively brew, but not too carbonated, thankfully. It cut through the tartness. Somewhat drying on the finish.

Overall, while not perfect, and maybe not even a good example of the style, it's still a fairly enjoyable brew, which I'll happily polish off, with the help of my brother.

Bottle pour sampled at mrbubbler's tasting courtesy of mrbubbler himself.

Pours a clear orange with an off-white head that settles to a film on top of the beer. Small streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is sour, tart, and funky with a slight fruit aroma. Taste is the same but there are no real peach flavors that stand out to me. This beer has a good level of carbonation with a crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good sour but the peach is lacking in both the aroma and flavor on this one.

Thanks turdfurgison for this tasty treat

Pours a golden orange with a bit of murkiness. Vry slight head but looks very pretty. Smells tart and funky. A lot of sour on the nose. Sme light oakiness and a hint of peach. Tastes Vry peachy and sour. The sourness hits really hard on the finish but it's coupled with a very nice peach. Well carbonated and quite a good drink

Thanks to Kan for sharing this one, which I was pleasantly surprised about. 750ml bottle poured into Cantillon tulip/snifter thingy.

A - Pours a light orange, thin white collar, spotty lacing around the edge of the glass.

S - Nice light sour/tart notes, huge peach, slight funk. The peach is fresh and not "fake" to me at all, which is nice.

T - Peaches and/or fruit, perhaps a little overdone, but still very enjoyable. Not sure if I could blindly say "peaches" but I would say "fruity" or something to that nature. Nice light to medium level of tart/sourness, slight oak notes.

M - Light, crisp and refreshing, fizzy carbonation, dry finish.

O - A solid offering from DH and one that I would have again for sure. A pleasant surprise for me at our little gathering, and glad I was able to try it. Give it a whirl!

Part of an epic tasting at jackie o's with brad and Co.

A-golden yellow with no head whatsoever
S-nice sour fruity smell
T-don't know about peaches. Defenitoy fruit just can't nail it down. Beter as it warms
M-light bodied and smooth
O-solid, but not as good as the rasberry
