A-Pours a lightly hazy orange with a lean cap of tight fluffy carbonation. Soft lacing.
S-Citra single hop=citrus of course. Grapefruit, naval oranges, lighter grass. All pack in by a submissive maltiness.
Lots of citrus in several different varieties. Clementine grows into bitter grapefruit. There are some softer fruity notes too. Hints of mango. Then it turns mildly herbal with some decent bitterness.
M-Very easy drinking. The bitterness is modest but still noticeable.
O/D-Anything Citra is a must try for me. This was a very tasty beer but I found its hoppiness to lack the flavor shifts that other elite IPAs display with this specific hop. A lot like regular Crooked Tree. I think that beer is great too so I have no qualms. A legit beer.

A: This poured a hazy copper with some light tan head.
S: It smelled like fresh grapefruit and citrus zest, with some earthy caramel malt.
T: It tasted like sweet honey malt, with some bitter citrus zest and earthy caramel. It had a mostly clean and sweet aftertaste.
M: It was slightly thick with moderate carbonation. Decent body.
D: This was a surprisingly sweet IPA. The scent was good, but the taste lacked bitterness. The body was ok and the finish was fairly smooth, so it was pretty easy to drink. Really not bad, but certainly not great.
