Pours a murky medium golden apricot with no head, but slight cream lacing at the rim.
Grapefruit, tangerine, resin, and oniony hops form the initial aroma. Fresh cut grass and light caramel malt, and floral hops add complexity.
Flavor is fairly citrusy, with muted grapefruit and sour orange finding pineapple, then becoming fairly bitter and resiny at the finish, with a hint of pine. The bready malt backbone merely shines through as a toasted flavor mid palate.
Body is a tad heavy, due to the lack of carbonation. There's moderate alcohol warmth.
Why this is on cask is beyond me. The flavor profile suffers due to lack of carbonation. If the flavor were accentuated to match the aroma, this would be incredible.
Update: out of a bottle, nice one inch cream head that lingers.
Resin and malt dominate the aroma. Onion is prevalent, with underpinnings of citrus.
Flavor is fairly sweet, toasted caramel malt, with resin hitting mid palate and carrying into the fairly bitter finish. Tropical citrus is dwarfed by malt.
Carbonation is moderate.
Wow. Night and day difference. The malt overwhelms in the bottled version. Lots of resin. Too bitter for me.

A: This poured a hazy copper with some light tan head.
S: It smelled like fresh grapefruit and citrus zest, with some earthy caramel malt.
T: It tasted like sweet honey malt, with some bitter citrus zest and earthy caramel. It had a mostly clean and sweet aftertaste.
M: It was slightly thick with moderate carbonation. Decent body.
D: This was a surprisingly sweet IPA. The scent was good, but the taste lacked bitterness. The body was ok and the finish was fairly smooth, so it was pretty easy to drink. Really not bad, but certainly not great.
