First off, I've found I really like Citra hops, and this beer uses it.
A: slightly hazy golden with little head, only minor lacing
S: floral and a little orangey
T/M: same as smell with a little grassy tinge at the end leading into the mild dry ending
O: solid Citra-hopped beer that is well balanced, very enjoyable.

Vertical tasting with the other crooked trees. All very dark caramel color. Nice malty smell with a bit of citrus. Not overly citrus flavor. Quite malty like the others. Nice smooth finish for me. Fun little IPA. Third favorite of the 4 I tried. Easy drinking, but the FF and Cascade were better.

Poured from a growler into a Goose Island tulip. The pour is an apricot-gold color with a little bit of hop haze. The head is small, but pretty well-sustained. The citra hops certainly announce their presence on the nose. There is a nice tropical fruit mix of sweet pineapple, lemon rind, and fresh oranges.
The beer has a nice light-medium body and an average (firm) feel, but a nice balanced hoppy flavor. I get some nice sweet marmalade-like notes up front, a little bit of bready malt underneath, and a nicely tempered accompaniment of spicy, fruity hops. Nice dry, hoppy finish with lingering fruit bitterness. Very drinkable and refreshing without wrecking your palate.
The body is a little lacking, but I really like the balanced flavor of this beer. In a world that seems to be dominated by ``extreme beers'', I find myself growing more and more appreciative of brewers that can construct an enjoyable and well-hopped IPA without having to resort to something that scours the tastebuds off my tongue. This isn't something that hopheads will flip over or seek out, but for those of us that appreciate balance, it comes as a welcome offering.

Hazy amber with a two finger off white head, with a lot of bubbles streaming up from the bottom of the glass. This beer has excellent head retention, and leaves plenty of lacing on the glass. The aroma has citrus, tropical fruit, caramel, and some biscuit malt.
Tastes very much like it smells. There is a nice combination of sweetness and bitterness with oranges, grapefruit, tropical fruit, caramel, and biscuit malt. It starts out sweet, and has a slightly bitter finish.
Medium bodied, with below average carbonation. Has a slightly bitter aftertaste. A very nice IPA from Dark Horse. I really like the Citra hops in this beer, and would buy it again gladly.
