On tap at the Tap and Mallet in Rochester, NY.

Pours a muddy, hazy crimson red, with lots of visible carbonation, but no head or lacing.

Smells like lactic acid, raspberries, funk, and oak.

The taste is similar, but less sour than I expected based on the aroma. Nonetheless, nicely raspberry forward, with more funk than sour, and more tartness than sour as well. Some oak, kinda leathery and musty. I love raspberries, so this is great- lots of great flavors here.

Medium bodied, crisp, fizzy mouthfeel. A decent amount of carbonation is present. Very drinkable.

Wish I could've ended up getting more of this, but there were so many other things to try, I had to move on. This shows that Dark Horse can actually do a sour, they've apparently released some turds in the past.

A-EBF sample pour. Pours a pulpy, cloudy, raspberry red. Looks like squished raspberries.

S-Mouth watering raspberry aroma. Both sweet and sour in its aroma. Raspberry jam and tart, slightly unripe raspberry flesh. A small waft of oak.

T-Starts off with a quaint berry tartness. The sweetness of the raspberries makes it's way in as well but it anti and some form of dryness throughout. Raspberry smoothie. A little oaky. Very tasty.

M-Medium to light in body with low carbonation. Refreshing.

O/D-A sleeper at the EBF. I really enjoyed this beer. It was initially an afterthought but ended up being one of the cooler beers I tried at the festival.
