hite beer - works well with the garlicky, spicy cuisine of its country of origin, but less satisfying on its own. pale golden color with a foamy, soapy head that diminishes within a minute. hints of dishsoap along with cooked cereal grains on the nose. mildly bitter in the way foreign lagers tend to be, but not in a big hoppy sense. i taste sweetness for a second up front, followed by a bit of sourness as the beer slides back. perhaps more texture than your big three domestics, and more than i would have guessed for a 4.5% brew. when the bottles are super-chilled and the weather is scorching, i find hite a refreshing beer (kind of like high life in that regard). as the beer rises in temperature it loses that appeal.

Mass-produced lager in Korea.
Almost unscented, taste like metallic, softly touched crisp.
In Korea, this beer is advertised as a selling point for its softly-swallowed-feeling, which also means that it has no other tasty- characteristics.
However, if you eat it with a richly flavored dish, it is good to eat lightly to refresh your mouth. It is not recommended to drink alone.

I always have this crisp, golden, smooth, and sweet malty lager at the KBBQs

Light and easy drinking with hints of sweetness, even a bit of lemon-lime soda, on the nose that reflect in the taste as well. One of those not a lot to laud or complain about.

330 ml bottle, from Green Peas, Stavanger. ABV is 4.3%. Crystal clear pale golden colour, moderate white head. Sweetish aroma of pilsener malts, grass and maize. Light bodied, citric mouthfeel. Sweet and citric flavour, notes of grass and maize again, a modest bitterness.

Drink it cold. As cold as you can get this. Pours clear, minimal aroma, bland fizzy flavor, quick finish. This comes in cans, bottles, and even plastic bottles, so that’s something.
