I have shopped here quite often since 2009. Not a bad BevMo! at all. Cool, people, decent selection. They actually have quite a bit, you just have to talk to Randy, Pat or Mike to get any "hard to find" beers. The cheese and cracker selection is phenomenal. Other snacks leave something to be desired and the prices are a bit hi. They only price match Total Wine. So, all that said, if you like good prices, go to Toatal Wine down the street, if you want to develop a relationship with people who LOVE beer, shop this BevMo!

Perfect alcohol warehouse! Nothing less, nothing more. Picked up a basket on my way in and it was easy to find the beer in the back left corner of the store.

Each beer/pack had a pricing sticker and all had B.O.D. date (that I picked up and observed). Well lit place and could tell this wouldn't hurt the beer's quality. I also remember all the shelves being covered so the light wouldn't hit directly. Front windows were tinted as well.

While walking in, there were 4 workers in the front and they didn't greet or act like anyone else was in the store. No help whatsoever. Found the store easy to navigate (didn’t sign up for a BevMo membership that day).

Has 2 rows of "bomber" shelved beer and 4 rows of 6-packs mixed in. There is also a fridge with TONS of beer. Good selection but more geared towards what the average consumer buys in Cali... I found 2 things that I appreciated from here (DogFish Head, The Bruery, Paper City)..

A bit pricey when it came down to it. My final total was $38+ for only 2 bombers and 4-pack.

BevMo is like a Wal-Mart for alcohol. I love BevMo and they usually represent the local beer scene pretty well and I try to hit one when I'm in a new town.

This BevMo however is the worst one I've ever been into. It's the smallest, and most importantly has the worst beer selection of any Bevmo I've ever been in. The Bevmo in the next town over has twice the beer selection and a few harder to get beers on top of it.

Due to their small and average beer selection I don't go here anymore. Torrance Whole Foods and BevMo Manhattan Beach have much better selection.

Kind of stumbled across this BevMo which happened to be right across the street from our hotel. The store is in a shopping plaza at the intersection of Hawthorne and Torrance, and there is plenty of parking.

The store is similar to most other BevMos I have visited. The beer is categorized in shelves in the rear, along with a few coolers full.

Imports are divided by country for the most part, with a good array of beer from the UK, Germany, Belgium, Russia etc. Domestic beers are well represented as well, especially from the western part of the country. Brewers like Alesmith (they had Decadence!), Lost Abbey, Rogue, Speakeasy, Russian River, Lagunitas and many more were present.

Service was about what I expected. No beer experts were falling over themselves to tell me about all the brews they carried but at least one person asked if I needed help on both my visits.

Overall hitting BevMo is pretty much a no-brainer when I am out west. There is always something good to bring home.

A good selection of craft beer at a reasonable price. They have all the big names, Stone, Sierra Neveda, Russian River, Chimay (every one except the white), Bear Republic....You name it. They even have some interesting Yerba Mate infused beers that ill hve to pick up next time I stop by. I enjoy the browsing in this store a little more than the location of pacific coast highway as they seem to have a better selection. I would recommend the beverages and more to any one in town be they locals or visitors. a good solid location.

If you have never been to a Beverages! and more, it has a warehouse type setting. This one usually has a pretty wide selection of brews. Stone, Lagunitas, Port, Green Flash, Deschutes, Rogue, Unibroue, then all the usual Belgians and some other imports...Nothing crazy but pretty damn good. I always enjoy going here, just because they do have such a wide selection compared to anything else around the area and i seem to get lucky with seasonals there as well. All in all, not too much different from the other Bevmo's in the area, although they have a few pretty knowledgeable employees here.

Dropped in on a Sunday, late morning. First, coming from TN and TX, it is awesome that a place like this is even open on Sunday. Walked in and the beers were straight back. Three big rows of imports/crafts as well as a small selection in the cooler. Jammed the beers in there with cases stacked up above. A gentleman was stocking the shelves and was quick to offer up help and gave me a Lost Abbey reccomendation when they did not have the Red Barn I was hoping for. Lots of CA micro selection including Lost Abbey, Port, Stone, AleSmith, Ballast Point, Russian River (Damnation only), and many more. I ended up walking out with bombers of AleSmith Old Numbskull, Lagunitas Hop Stoopid, Lost Abbey Inferno Ale, and Port Wipeout IPA. All for just over $30. Seemed like a good deal to me. Definitely worth the stop if you are in the area.

This is a pretty decent Bevmo for sure. The selection of craft brew is high and they tend to have things far beyond their release date. So if you're looking for some Alesmith or Stone seasonal release and you realize you forgot to buy it two months ago when it came out, chances are this Bevmo still has some. Probably because everyone in the South Bay just drinks Coor's Light, but I'm not sure. The only downfall is the beer guy here once told me they got a case of Lagunitas Hop Stoopid in and he bought the whole thing himself. I have no idea if the same guy still works there, but that's kind of iffy.

I picked the Torrance location because it was close to where I was staying and had found a Bevmo in San Diego that had very good selections of western craft beers during a different trip. By chance I happened to see a Bevmo in Pasadena on the day I planned to visit the store in Torrance. I thought if the Pasadena store had what I wanted it would save me the trip. My priority was beer from Alesmith and Port Brewing. Alas no Speedway Stout at the Pasadena store. I asked if they normally carried it and was told what you see it what we carry. I called the Torrance store and found they had the Stout so I bagged buying anything in Pasadena.

When I arrived in Torrance and entered the beer section I was immediately greeted by Mike H, the manager of the beer section, who asked if he could help. When I went to grab the Speedway stout he remarked that I must be the guy who called. He asked me what I was looking for and after a brief discussion of my likes and dislikes he offered some suggestions and told me about a few items that hadn't made it out to the floor yet.

He even recommended two other competitors who he thought might have some western craft beers he didn't have. I was impressed!

I can't comment on the imports as I did not even look at that area. I highly recommend this place for the service and selection.
