22oz. bomber from the brewery.
Pours a clear dark golden-yellow in color. Lots of fizzies swirling up from the bottom of the glass. Creamy-thick billowing white head nearly overflows the glass and slowly settles down to a finger-thick layer that leaves all sorts of rings behind. Aromas are wonderful. Very brisk and clean nose. Lots of spicy and fruity notes. Slight note of sweet caramel. Flavor is very nice as well. Initital flood of snappy citrus/grassy bitterness that is slowy tempered in the middle by a malt uprising. Ends with another rush of bitterness...nothing too overbearing, but very flavorful. Clean and dry finish, with only a bit of aftertaste puckering the tastebuds. Mouthfeel is a great play on the creamy character from the frothy head mixed with the drying/bitterin effect at the end. Extremely drinkable. This disappeared more at the rate of a 12oz. bottle. Did someone say growler?
