Thanks to my friend Malice for bringing me down a sixer of this from Toledo. You know what? It's not bad at all -- nothing special, but definitely worth picking up and drinking. Review is from notes taken on 9/26/2013 and poured from the bottle to a pint glass.
Appearance: Pale yellow, straw color on the pour; yields a one finger, white head that looks like a fluffy merengue at first; head fades to a complete, but pretty uneven skim; great clarity and plenty of carbonation. As far as pilseners go, it looks pretty much just like it should.
Smell: Grainy, slight lemony zest; presence of a saccharine sweetness. Solid.
Taste: Sweetness is up front, has a bit of a sweet, bread flavor -- like some kind of a bread pudding almost (but not quite that sweet). Grainy, but not really toasty; no real sense of any bitterness at all.
Mouthfeel: Light, crisp, plenty of carbonation keeping it lively and the body, while light avoids being watery.
Overall: Nothing special, but I think it deserves a little better of a rating than it has at time of this review. It's solid for the style and I would be happy to get a case of it if I come across it. A nice summer beer for sure, but I'm enjoying it well into the fall.

on tap at Maumee Bay brewpub in Toledo.
This light golden pilsner looks as it should and has no major flaws. However, I found it a bit under-hopped and a tad sweet. This had more effect on the aroma, which reflected way more malt than hops. The particular mix(?) of hops (Noble?) seems appropriate.
Medium-light body with medium carbonation.
