Appearance: This looked dissapointing. There was a very small head when served and it left almost no lace at all. I'll give the brewer the benifit of the doubt on the head as it was poured almost to the top of the pint glass so there wasn't much room for a head. The color was a darker brownish amber. It was very clear.
Smell: Mostly malty sweetness in the nose with a decent but small hop presence.
Taste: Very full with malt up front. The hops crept there way in to balance out the sweetness. It tasted very good with a small hop bit to keep it interesting.
Mouthfeel: A medium bodied beer that was very smooth. This stuck to the lager characteristic. Carbonation was good.
A very enjoyable and drinkable brew.
Serving type: on-tap
