This was my third microbrewery on my way back from the Michigan spring game. This was by far my favorite. It is located at the Oliver House.
I walked in and was met by brick walls and shelves on the right hand side on which were perched vintage beer cans. The place was clean and appeared pretty nice. The bartenders were very friendly and helpful in beer descriptions.
I tried the hazelnut porter, barley wine, and Total Eclipse Breakfast Stout. They were all good beers, but the latter was absolutely delicious. I had to get a growler of that. The growlers were very low priced. A lot of growlers went for $7.50. Of course my selection was $18, but that is in line with a lot of brewpubs.
I did not eat, but my friend ordered some riblets. The bartender said that they looked overcooked and went back and had the chef make a fresh batch. I thought that was a very classy thing to do. EDIT: I did eat on my second trip and the food was amazing! I was even more impressed on my second trip. Very friendly staff.
Overall, I was impressed with this place. I will have to make this a stop on my way to and from Michigan.

The brewpub/restaurant has a lot character. It is set in the second floor an old 19th Century hotel that also houses several other businesses, including a steakhouse, pastery shop, pub, restaurant and brewery. Each of these are very distinctive. It also contains a wonderful collection of beer memorabilia in the Toledo Brewing Hall of Fame & Museum. The glassed-in copper colored mash tun and kettle are the defining features of the pub. The Tap Room (bar) on the main floor (second floor) also has a mixed old world new world character with brick walls and new wood tables and chairs both raised and regular height.. The wood bar is located on the far wall with a large selection of spirits and booze in front of a large mirrored wall. They serve only Maumee Bay beers with 11 taps flowing, some regular, others seasonal.
Most of the beers are very good. For food, the specialty of the house is pizza, baked in a wood fired oven. The menu is pretty full featured and diverse, since it is adjoined by at least 2 resturants. I have sampled many items from the menu and found the food to be good but not great. The prices are very reasonable and I highly recommend this place for a good drinking and dining experience.
