I'm trying this at their Theater District location and the ABV has changed to 8.1%. It poured an opaque dark with tan head that is not leaving much lace. The scent had maple syrup with bourbon highlights. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with sweet malt base and bourbon tones throughout. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with smooth carbonation. Overall its a solid beer and I didnt mind the lighter mouthfeel on this stout....the taste masked the higher abv..making it sessionable...well done.

Thanks to Phil for sharing.
Opaque brown-black with a thinnish khaki foam that disappears to a ring and leaves no lace. Smell is lightly chocolate, coffee, vanilla and faint cherry. Taste is roasted malt, milk chocolate and coffee, there are additional layers of vanilla, cherry...faint bourbon elements. Mouthfeel is thinnish with moderate carbonation. Decent stout. Has elements of a milk stout and the bourbon barrel aging is noticeable.
