half liter poured into a nonic pint. pours a crystal clear amber color with three fingers of light tan tight head that remains for a couple minutes. moderate lacings.
aroma is malty, with caramel malts mainly, and a slightly mettalic character among the malts. a touch of roasted malt is present as well, along with notes of floral hops and a distant nutty character.
taste is malty up front, with caramel malts and a creamy character that is lightly roasted. finishes with mild floral hops and an aftertaste of residual malt and floral hops.
mouthfeel is light bodied and somewhat watery, along with a semi-dry and bitter finish.
drinkability is decent. this brew lacks body for the flavors and aromas present, but remains well proportioned.
