16 oz serving in a pint glass at Union Jacks Glenside off the nitro tap.
A- Belhaven Scottish Stout came to me with a cascading body like a Guinness. Once that was done working it's magic a charcoal black body was seen and a 1/2 inch creamy head. The bubbles were so tightly packed it basically looked like a topping of vanilla yogurt. Beautiful!
S- Maybe it's the appearance but i'm getting mostly a creamy smell like your average dairy product. Milky, with a bit of caramel from the roasted malts used. More chocolate than vanilla but both pretty sparse. A bit of roasty coffee with a touch of licorice with warming.
T- The taste on this is magnificent probably aided by the nitro, but im impressed. The chocolate and vanilla are more pronounced while this is overall creamy. Roasted malts giving off caramel are there and on par for style. Some coffee and just a cameo for any hop presense. I know the hops are there, it's just not this beers focus.
M- This goes down like a Guinness only with a great taste. Medium bodied with carbonation and a creamy appeal. The roasted malts stayed on my palette for a bit while there is barely any bitterness to this. The 7% is invisible.
D- I would drink this all night and love it. I'm sure the nitro tap is helping immensley so I wonder how this fares in a bottle. The flavor profile does not scream stout IMO so i'm guessing that this is just a trumped up version of their regular wee-heavy. Either way it's brilliant and everybody should try this. Top notch stuff.

Pours a pitch-black coloration with a ruby sheen when held up to the light and a small, creamy head. Smells of roasted, smoked, slightly caramelly malt and hints of chocolate and licorice. Taste is a good balance of roasted, slightly smoked and caramelly malt, with some chocolate, licorice, earthy hops and skunk also coming through, Finishes with a light bitterness and some smoked malt, chocolate and skunk lingering in the aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.
I have no idea who had the bright idea to put a Stout in a clear bottle, but there is some distinct skunkiness to this that really ruins the beer for me, especially in conjunction with the meaty smoke flavor. I can quite appreciate some smoked malts if they have that campfire quality to them, but dislike the meaty flavor displayed here. It's also a little too sweet and caramelly for my personal taste, while I would have wished for a more roasted, bitter quality here. It's drinkable enough, but certainly not something that I would buy again.

Black in color with no light penetration. There’s an inch of densely packed creamy off white on top. Heavy lacing on the glass. The aroma is of caramel and milk chocolate. I’m tasting caramel and dark malt. The mouth is exceptionally smooth and creamy.

I tried this at Green St. Grill in Bensenville, IL whilst there for my son's hockey tournament. It poured an opaque dark with off white head that did not leave any lace. The scent had faint smoke and earth. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with smoke accents and peat. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall its a good beer.

500 ml clear bottle, from Voldby Købmandsgård, Denmark. ABV is 7%. Black colour, large tan head. Roasty aroma with notes of coffee, hints of dark chocolate and woodwork, also an initial hint of fruity acidity. Fairly smooth mouthfeel. The flavour is medium sweet with notes of dark malts, coffee, chocolate and molasses. Some fruitiness too, but the bitterness is quite moderate. Pretty good stuff.

Had it on tap at Deacon Bradys in Ottawa. Poured a silky blackish with a touch of red. Was served in a Scottish thistle glass that showcased the cascade wonderfully.
A great drinker.... Not heavy at all. I would recommend it to a friend and that's my highest honor.

That's rather good, aroma is muted and it pours without out head, but then it screams wonderful when you taste it, thick, glorious dark malty burnt with a lovely bitterness that sits well. If anything it's too sweet, but it's a cracker!
