Really dark brown with ruby highlights at the edges, dense off-white head, excellent retention, thick bands of lacing
Aromas of toasted nuts, caramel, a bit of coffee and dark chocolate
Toasted nuts and dark caramel flavor, a bit of roast
Light bodied, nitro carbonation
Nice one for cooler nights at fall, when you don't want anything too heavy or roasty, because it was still a warm, sunny day earlier.

On nitro tap at The Haven in Boston, MA.
This one pours a very dark black color, with a creamy head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like coffee, smoke, roasted malt, and herbal bitterness.
This is definitely better than the more ubiquitous Guinness, with a really nice creaminess and a more full-bodied spicy bitterness on the back end. It’s a little bit chocolate and coffee, and a lot of roast, with a herbal spicy finish.
This is medium bodied, creamy from the nitro, and very drinkable overall.
This was really enjoyable – one of the better nitro dry Irish stouts that you’ll find out there.

The pour is dark brown with a small white head. The taste is roasted malts & char, great for a cold winter evening. Cheers! B

Excellent, however, I prefer the taste in a bottle.

Has a very similar look and feel to Guinness. But the taste is slightly watery and less pronounced than the Irish counterpart. Almost like Guinness light. Fairly average

Poured from a nitro glass into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a brown color with a beautiful cascade of nitro bubbles streaming up through the brew. As the nitro bubbles cease their cascade, they leave a tan puffy foam on the top of the brew. The foam head very slowly fades over time leaving a decent sum of streaky lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma of the brew is strong of a roasted malt aroma mixed with a caramel and brown sugar smell. Along with these smells comes other notes of coffee and a little bit of toast.
Taste – The taste begins with a roasted malt flavor mixed with a bit of coffee and a touch of nut. At the same time there is a very light brown sugar sweetness, mixed with just a bit of toast and chocolate. As the taste advances the coffee gets lighter, all while the brown sugar gets slightly more intense, leaving one with a lightly sweetened and roasty taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – Being a nitro pour the body of the brew is creamy and smooth. For the style and the tastes the feel is good and makes for a nice sipper.
Overall – A fairly nice easy drinking dry Irish style stout. Overall rather tasty and nice for fall!
