Notes/Commercial Description:
American classic. True to style, this beer is blond in color with a low bitterness that makes this a smooth drinking beer. It's brewed with German malt and flaked maize. It's hopped with Perle and Sterling hops to about 14 IBU's.

On tap at the brewpub.

Extremely pale (yellow) in color, touch of haze. Pure white foam lace with minimal retention and a slightly stick lace. Very soft aroma of floral and wet malts. Very thin and light-bodied. Mellow malt sweetness with a bready/doughy malt character that dominates. Soft hop bitterness balances. Drinkable, but extremely lackluster.

Very pale with a mild haze and a thin ring of lace. Nutty doughy malt yeast aroma. More nutty doughy character in the flavor. Very mild hop bitterness with a touch of hop oil flavor in the middle. Balanced and drinkable. Paired well with the cheese plate.

This is a serving of Quechee Cream Ale at Seven Barrel Brewery in Lebanon, NH. The ale is cold.

Appearance: The beer is a pale yellow color with a nice head and lace.

Smell: There is no appreciable aroma in the beer, a bit of malts pop up but that is it.

Taste: The ale has a creamy flavor but is utterly devoid of malt and hops.

Mouthfeel: The beer is neither offensive nor inoffensive. The flavor is barely noticeable.

Drinkability: The beer is plenty drinkable, just don't expect any revelations.

Had on tap at the brewpub. Very pale yellow with a low head that disipated quickly. Low fruity aroma. Tastewise, there was a 50/50 split between grainyness and fruityness. While this doesn't sound terribly tasty or exciting, I actually thought it was pretty pleasant. Probably not my number one cream ale though.

Not quite what I expected, this was a very pale clear yellow with little head (like a Bud Lite). It smelled like sweet citrus and yeast, with a flavor to match. It reminded me of a light Belgian ale, but weaker flavor. The texture wasn't as creamy as I expected, being more thin and flat, and the aftertaste was bland and watery. Overall pretty disappointing, and I didn't even expect much since cream ales aren't among my favorite styles!
