Appearance: Beautiful bronze colored body with great head and lace.
Smell: The hop qualities are apparent first, then a noticeable variety of barley and rye malts.
Taste: Spicy, bitter and sweet very well balanced. The grains make themselves known by a slight grassiness.
Mouthfeel: A little slick with a moderate body
Overall: I enjoyed it and it is a break from the usual ales.

On-tap at the Brew Co.
Pours a brilliant, red-tinted amber with a foamy off-white head with relatively good sticking power.
Aromas of resinous hops and a spicy, peppery rye character on top of a solid caramel malt backbone. Moderately bitter on the palate, with a lingering dry finish. A good, solid, drinkable beer.

Has an orangey yellow glow with not much head on mine.
Peppery spice with american hop notes. Caramel malt and soft carbonation give it a smooth body.
Overall, it's a cool style that i've a few times now and this was a good example. Subtle but with nice complexities.

poured from a tap into a pint glass. Thick rocky two finger head, very sticky. Deep copper color with a reddish hue. Very good looking!
Smells of sweet malts, rye, two row, pale malts, and a flowery hop presence. smells a lot like their goldie hops.
Incredibly good, even though I am not always a fan or Rye PAs, this one isn't over done. A definite presence of rye malt but it doesn't overpower the pale malt and the flowery hops like most do. A slight warming of vanilla in the background of the citrus sweetness of the hops.
Mouth is oily, incredibly oily but not too sticky to the mouth. Drinks incredibly well. I wish they brewed this all the time. One of their best offerings.

I may have missed the style listing Rye PA is an IPA with rye. Rye does not make up the large part of the grist is this example.
Pours a golden copper with two fingers of head that hold a while and falls to a cap and ring lacing the Springfield B.C. pint glass.
Almost a fresh hopped aroma suggesting dry hops. Flavors offer a nice balance of malts to the hops. Rye does not dominate the malts. Mouthfeel is round and easy to holdon to mid taste and does not get watery at end - suggesting higher mash temps producing some unfermentable dextrins. Carbonation is very well done stays around till the end. IBUs are around 50-60 offering some dryness and a not long lasting easy bitterness.
My favorite for a growler (no longer available) or a six pack. Very drinkable and the stuff of a good session.
