Stop #212 on my quest to visit every quality brewery/brewpub in the world.
Tuesday evening around 6:30. Large historic space with huge open bar in the center. Legit brewerania on the old brick walls.
Began with the 6 beer 3oz sampler for $6. All beers were clean, well attenuated, and spot on in terms of style.
Kolsch - seasonal beer. Clean with a touch of fruit. Nice.
Unfiltered Wheat - "like Boulevard but better" according to the bartender (Sly). Hazy, no head, and very good.
Pale Ale - light caramel flavor, not sweet, pine flavor. Among the best brewpub pale ale's that I've had.
Red IPA - brewers special. A bit muddy with some off flavor (especially coming off the pale ale).
Schwarzbier - black sheep beer. Malty and clean - very well done.
The actual brewer is Mueller and there is an impressive brewing operation visible from the bar.
Service was excellent and the food very good.
One of the best rural brewpubs I've visited and the pals ale, usual just pale and lifeless, was among the finest brewpub pale ale I've had. The only downside is the cancerous macro domestic light beers in bottles (being sold to the college kids).

Came on a Saturday morning/noon. Lively, noisy & loved the bones of the place. Loads of brick & little beer memorabilia. Seemed a bit of a slice in time of a 90s brewpub. A few TVs around to watch some games
The American Strong Ale (Hop Lobster) & Maibock were pretty good, not great
Friendly & somewhat attentive service
9 beers on tap, a few of them lagers, one chillebeer. They also had a bottled barrel aged imp stout on sale
Food was typical pubgrub, albeit a bit pricey
Food & beer were pricey
I would go again if in the area, but wouldn't be in too big a hurry
