A pretty neat place in downtown Cincinnati. An upscale kinda place that isn't too snooty or smug. A very nice little bistro with artwork on the walls. Still comfortable. Only a few taps, so the selection isn't the greatest, but there's always some goodies to be had. They host events from time to time so you'll occassionally see something really rare. Events aside, they usually bring it. Last time I was there was for the Founders event. Black Biscuit, Double Trouble, Porter, along with some tasty Belgians another another Avery tap. You'll usually see a few good Belgians. The service is upscale but still welcoming, with a bit of beer knowledge. The food is incredible. The owner, Jean-Robert, was formerly at the Masonette, so you know the food will be top notch. Try the French Onion Soup and the Mussels.

Nice quality bar in downtown Cincy.
This place is easily overlooked, but has a very quality tap lineup to offer. Somewhat upscale bistro, but the bar is in the front and you avoid the clientelle. Always have a good selection of Belgians on tap, plus rare seasonals. I'm always good for a tulip of Gulden Draak or some Houblon Chouffe while I'm there. They'll also have Founders Breakfast Stout and Bells Hopslam when in season.
It's a nice, quiet, cozy place, but the drinks are a bit more expensive than you'll find anywhere else. This is a one to two drink tops kind of place. Not somewhere to make the night of it.

Alright now this is a nice place, but my ride there was anything but. First off I chose to go from the Clifton area, down through OTR to get to downtown. Now being from SC, I had no idea what type of neighborhood I would be driving into. Good grief that was not a fun drive lets just say I was offered anything and everything in about a mile. So upon getting in, I really felt out of place, and that was the main reason I did not hang out long, as I was no where near dressed for this place. So I checked out the menu, the food looked great, what I saw out anyway, though quite expensive to be honest, but it was the type of place you were paying for. The taps as mentioned were pretty filled with quality ales, Chimay, and Maredsous on tap if I remember correctly, plus about 5 or six more. Overall this is a place I would like to take my wife for our anniversary or something, not the place I would go to for the bar. Definitely high class and a good quality place.

A nice French Bistro in downtown Cincinnati that is part of a group of restaurants owned by Jean Robert, a local food personality.
Sitting at the bar, I was impressed by the range of taps, which included a number of Belgians as well as some good domestic craft brews. About 10 taps in all and Stella was the only one a BA would turn up his nose at.
I paired the slow cooked double thick pork chop with the Bell's Best Brown. The chop was as fork tender as NC BBQ and I wound up sitting next to a guy who raved about his meal as well.
This is one of those upscale restaurants who put some thought into both their beer and wine selection and should be commended and encouraged.
Not cheap, but a great meal with a nice atmosphere and a thoughtful selection of high quality beers.
