Throwing this many adjuncts into a relatively low abv Porter sounds like a recipe for disaster, but I trust Hoppin’ Frog to keep this one in check. Let’s crack it open and see what it’s all about
Pours an opaque medium brown with 2 fingers of creamy light tan head that slowly fades to a thin cap and leaves minimal lacing
The peanut butter definitely leads the nose, but it feels authentic and most importantly balanced. I’m picking up on aromas of peanut butter, cocoa powder, burnt caramel, black cherry, fruity coffee, dark toast, and vanilla bean
Everything is even more subtle in taste, but that peanut butter still dominates. On the front end of the sip I’m tasting peanut butter, milk chocolate, dark toast, roasted peanut, light roast coffee, and toffee. The swallow brings notes of peanut butter, toasted peanut, light roast coffee, dark toast, black cherry, and milk chocolate
A medium body pairs with gentle carbonation, resulting in a silky beer. Finishes neutral with a light roasty bitterness
This one is damn solid. Subtle, but good for what it is

Looked typical for the style dark color with ample tan head that diminished after a minute. Aroma was dominated by a sweetness, a bit off putting. Taste was a caramel \ chocolate, pleasing to my palate, hop presence was non existent. Okay feel, nothing stood out. All in all, a good beer but not a top tier beverage.

In a can. Aggressive pour leaves a thick, pillowing head. Smell is mocha ice cream with fudge and nuts. Taste follows. Rich dark chocolate swirls with French roast and caramel notes. A bit lighter roast coffee on the finish, ever so slightly acidic. Feel is silky smooth, but not nitro cold brew smooth; it isn’t thin by any means. A rich, delicious coffee treat.

Tis pour looks more like a stout that a porter. Black liquid with a light brown head. The head vaporizes fairly quickly leaving a faint ring of foam around there glass.
Smell and Taste of chocolate, coffee, and peanut butter.
Slightly harsh and seltzer like.
Overall: If I had read the side label I would not have bought this one. I'm not a big fan of peanut butter in anything. None the less, I'm trying to be fair so the 3.75. Hope to not buy again but I did without knowing it. Might be a sign for me to join the beer trading group.

Poured from a 12-oz can, dated “Best by Feb 2 2025.”
Appearance: Almost black, with an over-1” head that only gradually reduced, some lacing.
Nose: Peanut butter dominant, coffee.
Mouthfeel: Pleasantly heavy.
Attack: Medium dark roasted flavor, light peanut butter, coffee, chocolate.
Finish: Not too bitter — nicely balanced.
Overall: An excellent porter, well worthy of its high ratings. An afternoon stand-alone beer for me that disappears faster than a sipper — coffee and me in the evening messes with sleep quality! This could also be an excellent breakfast beer paired with rich biscuits and gravy — an honor I usually bestow on Founder’s Breakfast Stout.

Black in color with minimal light penetration. There's a fingernail of brown around the rim. The aroma is all peanut butter. I taste peanut butter and dark roasted coffee. The mouth is dry and lightly oily.

Canning date is smudgy, but looks like Feb. 2022. Poured at 55°. Dark brown body with ruby see through; creamy tan head with a few rocks; very little cap retention, solid plus ring; some soapy lace at first; thin legs at best. Roast coffee and dark chocolate nose. Bittersweet dark chocolate initially, followed by roast coffee; more a toasted nuts flavor than peanut butter on backend. Light body but not watery; moderate minus carbonation; no warmth from 6.2% abv. Overall a very tasty coffee Porter; no artificial flavors detected; the coffee and chocolate complimented each other; nice coffee in the linger; not much “peanut butter” which is alright by me; a great breakfast beer I will happily drink again.
