From BeerAdvocate Magazine Volume II, Issue II:
Love it, a twist on the Russian Imperial Stout. Oats do a Stout good. Dead of night blackness pours from the bottle, slow moving bubbles all jockey for position within the tightly-kept froth. The aroma is so mellow, almost too mellow. Deep, dark berry fruitiness meets soft dark-roasted coffee and a sultry dark chocolate nose. Sublime smoothness, we thank the oats and full body for that. The roasted or burnt grain flavor is firm but not sharp, with massive mocha flavor throughout. Yeah, mocha ... the chocolate and coffee overtones battle it out with suggestions of high-percent cocoa chocolate and a Sumatra roasted coffee flavor. Sounds complex because it is. Alcohol is there, warming, but does not make too much noise. Oats and malt lend some sweetness which solidifies the balance. Finishes bitter semisweet.
Saying it is a lovely Stout is being a bit simple, but we think this review breaks it down enough. Even if you are not big on Stouts give this one a shot.

A-pours a used oil med-thin head depending on the aggressiveness
S-Ample dark malts with a mild black coffee/soft licorice
T-Definitive strong black coffee flavor with a intermediate yet complementing mix of dark fruits (raisins, dates(soft),fig, and black cherry) finish is a awesomely enjoyable mix with a soft tail. The ABV as stated before is not noticeable.
M-In between a milky and silky smooth with a great tacky end-all. Mild to light carbonation.
O-A delicious Imperial stout that does not disappoint and only grow's with a little warmth, almost a cask flavor at room temp. Defiantly recommended.

Pours a dark jet black. No head, just the thinnest tan ring around the edge. No lacing.
Smells like booze. Minimal other aromas, maybe a hint of roasted malt and sweetness.
Taste is super thin, watery, mild sweetness, molasses and alcohol. Nothing lingers. Really disappointing. As it warms it get bigger and has some chocolate and coffee flavors, but still unusually thin and watery.
Thin mouthfeel. Very watery, alcohol is prevalent but not something that gets in the way.
Big let down. Maybe the most watery stout ever. Not much flavor either. I don't get what went wrong here. I sipped it, tasted little. Let it warm to room temp and still got a watery, boozy miss that only got a hair more flavor and body...
