22 oz bomber from Abe's in Bethlehem, purchased for $6.50, poured into a pint glass.
Looks slightly lighter than a big stout, pretty dark brown with a light cocoa head that is modest, settles down to a thin covering and leaves only a little lacing.
Smell is both IPA and RIS, dark roasted, chocolatey malts and nice hop bitterness and caramel malt, but the RIS is definately more upfront.
Taste is again a very nice combination of both--lots of bitter dark malts and bitter hops, balanced out nicely by a solid by not overly sweet or syrupy malt backbone--very good. However good it is, though, Im not sold on this as my favorite beer or style, though.
Mouthfeel manages to avoid being watery or thick, its a nice medium with some active carbonation--this really is a very good blend.
Drinkability is basically perfect--it is bold and flavorful without being overfilling or overly bitter, alcoholic, and is anything but boring. Really, really good.

Bottle, kindly shared by gunnar. ABV is 7.6%. A blend of 67% IPA and 33% stout. Black colour, moderate beige head. Nice aroma of fruity American hops, just a hint of roastiness. Pleasant roasty and very hoppy flavour.

Cola brown with a bubbly tan ring.
There's not a lot of aroma, where I'm getting mild notes of a toasted Nut Brown.
Taste brings the unusual element of the "tan" part that Frog chooses to use, which adds the spiced orange of Gangster Frog with an expected hint of green tea to a mild roast, mixed nuts and a toastiness on the back end.
Crisp yet frothy with a medium body and a semi-dry to dry finish. It is what it is, a blend that's not really defined.
