This was one of five DPA's that a group of us sampled this past week.
This one game in a unanimous last place amongst the group. Somewhat similar to Moylander's DPA but even that is better than this one.
Color is deep copper and there was a healthy 3 finger head.
No strong aroma to speak of and what there was focused more on malt and dead bitterness vs. a fresh hops aroma.
I call this a dead bitter taste, vs. what I describe as fresh hop flavor in other DPA & IPA's
After the initial dead bitter you get a total caramel/malt flavor that I find too sweet.
Frankly does not compare to the other better DPA's on the market.
In case you are wondering the other better choices were;
Grab any of those long before you reach for this one.
