A: Very still paprika color with a thin white film across the top of the body.
S: Wow. Smells of blackberry, raspberry, blueberry, mango, watermelon and some doughy thoughts.
T: Starts with berry, caramel and banana..really jammy. Whole lotta blueberry pie with copious other berries mixed in. A lot of depth in the DIPA which Im totally digging. Some spritzy pine pricks the middle of the tongue offering even more depth. As it warms, the flavors emerge more voraciously. Low level bready malts exist but are really dominated by the berry flavors. Bitterness emerges towards the end, really shining at the back of the tongue. Finishes with lingering jam flavors as the bitterness gently fades.
M: Medium body with a soft mouthfeel.
D: Boy do I like unique beers especially styles where cookie cutters are starting to take over. I cant really compare this DIPA to any other on the market, really stands out. Its not the best DIPA on the market, but I appreciate its uniqueness.
