Serving Type - 22oz bottle
Appearance - Golden copper tanish yellow, foamy 1 inch head and tons of sticky lacing.
Smell - Grapefruit, orange, pineapple, caramel malts, grapes, spices, some alcohol, some lemon and floral notes, smells great.
Taste - Straight up caramel malt with pine and grapefruit hops. Lots of citric fruits are mix in as well, lemon, banana, pineapple. Added sweet sugars work well with the malts and bitter hops to taim down the bitterness this beer has. Slight warmth from the alcohol in the finish.
Mouthfeel - Tounge gets nailed with malts, hops and sugars. Palate gets more hops then malts, lots of sugars and spices. The finish is sweet, malty, and bittered.
Overall - A nice malty dipa. Much more like hercules from great divine, or even unearthy from southern tier, big malt upfront, but a ton of bitter hops also. Balanced well, pretty much eveything comes out, in a big way. Drinks pretty easy being just over 8%. A great malty dipa.
