22oz bottle into a snifter, surprised how limited this has been in NE Ohio - difficult to find but I got one and opened it right away, probably 2-3 weeks after bottling!
Copper beer with a small ring. Darker than many DIPAs that I lean towards, but still looks good.
Smell is hop bomb overload. Citrus hops with some skunky and earthy hops too. Sweet but totally overloaded. This should be interesting, certainly a fragrant beer.
Taste is good but kindof underwhelming. Harshly bitter and ruinous on my palatte. Sticky green herbs, peach, sweet malt (a bit too much malt for me, I like DIPA's that are just slightly more viscous than h20). Some piney characteristics too, but very dank and stinky. I think I was expecting more West Coast DIPA goodness but this is almost more along the lines of a Devil Dancer, 120 minute, and Ruination.
Mouthfeel was OK, slightly too much body for a DIPA for me.
Hugely bitter taste hurts drinkability, but this still went down easily for such a huge beer.
Good but a bit overhyped - I felt this wasn't anything new but more of a rehash of where others have taken super hopped beers before. Your palatte will pay for this, so don't expect to rate anything afterwards.

On tap at Hops and Pie. Dark orange, minimal head. Overwhelming aroma of paws an cheese, sort of foot like, Summit hops? Flavor was more Parmesan, extremely bitter and very unpleasant to say the least. I feel sorry for anyone who dropped $18 on this, it sucks.
