From the 16 oz can in a snifter. This solid little ale pours a
muddled and murky red tinged brown with a decent head of
off white foam that settles to a thick ring, thin clumping layer,
and sports some nice lacing. Nose of subtle whiskey, dark brown sugars,
light vanilla, and light alcohol spiciness. Flavors hit the mark with
brown sugars, subtle toffee, whiskey, vanilla, subtle orange zest,
and faint oak. Mouth feel is medium, light carbonation, smooth,
and finishing moderately sweet and lightly warming.
Overall, a solid little brew!
Cheers

Best By Date 3/9/25. Poured at 53°. Thin off white head leaves a long lasting island of micro dots and thin ring, otherwise poor cap retention; no lace; pale brown/rusty/copper color with some clarity. Nose is caramel malt and whiskey; perfumey esters as beer warms. Sweet whiskey and caramel entry; candied orange peel on backend. Medium minus body; moderate minus carbonation; no warmth from 8.2% abv; dry wooden barrel tongue coating. Overall, lots of residual sugars with a sweet candy like finish.

16oz can from Tavour. Mahogany pour, ring of beige bubbles. Sweet, woody aroma, raisins, prunes. Taste is sweet, peaty, pit fruit, light barrel notes, soft warmth. A lot of quad notes in this brew.

Poured from a 22 Oz. Bottle into a Sam Adams glass. Poured the color of Coca Cola with a slight tan head. Malty and vanilla with a very sweet aftertaste. Overall not a bad beer but a little too sweet for my taste.
