Cellarbrations Strathfield is a smallish, local bottleshop on The Boulevarde, a short walk from Strathfield trains station.

A very good variety of beers, Aussie micros and imported, and there's a discount of 10% if you buy a mixed-six-pack or more of the imported beers. Particularly good for Belgians, including Rochefort 10, Westmalle Tripel and Rodenbach Grand Cru. They also stock a good range of Unibroue beers. Micros include the whole Grand Ridge range, plus the usual suspects...

I think the ownership changed recently, and since then the once jam-packed shelves of craft beer are dwindling slightly (they also seem to have increased their intake of Canadian macros?? I don't know quite what's that about - but there are at least 3 on their shelves). The service has also gone downhill - the old staff were more than happy to chat beer with you - nowadays it's just a matter of putting your sales through.

Still, there's a number of beers I've found here, and never at some of the other well-regarded Sydney bottleshops like Amato's or Camperdown cellars.

Definitely worth a look if you're in the area... (1,124 characters)
