Growler fill from the teet and enjoyed during Super Bowl 49. Very enjoyable throughout the night. My wife even liked this IPA (then I should not, right?). Nice family IPA, but needed more IBUs. (193 characters)

On draft, pours a hazy orange-yellow color, thin white ring of head on the top.

The smell is all citrus, orange, grapefruit, mixed with candied sugar, malt, a little tea leaves and lemon, tropical fruit. The flavor is very robust for a session ale, lots of hop character, orange peel, a little hay, candy, lemon zest. This is really clean and refreshing, good body. I like this one and a nice session offering from them. (424 characters)

Currently this is still only available on tap for pints and growler fills - it's consistently available in the taproom. I enjoyed one yesterday for IPA Day.

It pours nice clear dark gold, pillowy white head with pretty great retention. Head stuck around fully until about 3/4 of the way done with the beer.

Nose and flavor of this are fantastic, especially for a session IPA. I'd be hard pressed to come up with a session IPA (especially a local or VA brew) that comes close to delivering this much flavor at the relatively low ABV of 4.5%. Decent amount of pine and a bit of bright citrus like grapefruit come through, but the hop flavor isn't brash. Very nice session IPA. If you visit the brewery make sure to give this one a shot. (742 characters)
