12 oz bottle poured into a pint glass.
Aroma- A very nice malt aroma with maybe an earthy undertone.
Appearance- A dark brown ale with an off-white head.
Taste-Has a strong malt flavor with a light bitterness at the end.
Palate- Medium bodied with a well balanced mild carbonation.
Overall- This is a really good beer. Doesn't appear to have a wide distribution. if you can find it I would give it a try.

Poured into a pint glass. Bottle.

3.75 A: Deep brown-black color. Two fingers of frothy creamy beige head. Retention is about average and a finger of lacing is left.

3.5 S: Big toastiness and nuttiness right off the start. Also some roastiness, chocolate, and a fairly powerful hop presence for the style. Floral and earthy hops.

3.25 T: Dry toastiness is the dominant flavor. Nuts underneath. Again there's notes of roasted malts, chocolate. Moderate hop bitterness.

3.5 M: Medium body. Good moderate carbonation. Lightly creamy and very smooth.

3.25 D: Good beer, but run of the mill.

A: Pours a clear dark mahogany in color with light amounts of active visible carbonation rising slowly from the bottom of the glass and moderate amounts of ruby red + garnet red highlights. The beer has a half finger tall creamy foamy dark beige head that slowly reduces to a thick film covering the entire surface of the beer with a thick ring at the edges of the glass. Moderate amounts of lacing are observed.

S: Light aromas of toasted malts, caramel/brown sugar, cocoa, nuts, and earthy hops.

T: Upfront there is a light flavor of toasted and caramel malts with a light amount of brown sugar sweetness and just a touch of nuttiness. That is followed by a very light flavor of earthy hops which imparts a light amount of bitterness in the finish which does not linger for long.

M: Just shy of medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Slightly creamy.

O: I think this beer is fairly well balanced - not too malty/sweet and not too hoppy/bitter. Enough complexity to be interesting but not overly complex. Overall, easy to drink and enjoyable. Reminds me of a slightly stronger version of the brown ales I used to grab in the pubs when in the UK.

Not feeling too strong for this one, my peeps.

Light like a birdcage without the parrot; taste is fairly plain like that pigtailed brunette Raul sat next to in Home-Ec; and the mouthfeel is thin like a gymnast in training. Not offputting, but Raul would pass on another.
