Visited Virginia and picked this up before going home to Indiana. Here goes:

A: Alright. Cloudy orange-brown with a decent head and moderate lacing. Some carbonation.

S: Very light, but still detect citrus, pine, and some grapefruit. Also some cloying malt sweetness.

T: Follows the nose but with some added orange peel. Moderate hops and good malt.

F: Well carbonated but somewhat light.

O: Very average.

A: Cloudy amber, with a thin head that quickly faded. Lacing was fair, may have been better if I'd been more aggressive in my pouring.

S: Not a powerful nose, but peach and grapefruit stand out.

T: Pretty sweet up front, just shy of cloying (I suspect from some added sugar to kick up the AVB); very little flavor of the grain. The hops bitterness is medium, and outlasts the sweetness; I detect grapefruit pulp and pine notes.

M: Quite nice mouthfeel, with a good moist/crisp balance, and just a touch of dryness at the end.

O: A little sweeter than I like my IPA's, which I admit is just a personal taste thing. It's decent enough that I could see bringing a six'er of this to a party to share, and know that it would be appreciated (while keeping the "good stuff" at home in my refrigerator)

Alewerks is fast becoming one of my top breweries. A Nother… Must buy…! If you haven't tried this, you have to! It is just a phenomenal beer. Well-balanced delicious not overwhelming in the least.

A: Pours a hazy medium copper-ish amber in color with moderate amounts of fine visible carbonation rising from the bottom of the glass with some faint golden yellow highlights. The beer has a half finger tall creamy foamy dark beige head that very slowly reduces to a thick film covering the entire surface of the beer with a medium thick ring at the edges of the glas. Moderate to heavy amounts of lacing are observed.

S: Moderate aromas of caramel malts with pine and citrus/orange rind hops.

T: Upfront there is a moderate flavor of sweet caramel malts. That is followed by slightly stronger flavors of citrus/orange rind and pine hops which imparts a light to moderate amount of lingering bitterness.

M: Medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Creamy but slightly sticky in the finish.

O: Interesting combination of hops aromas/flavors over the top of the sweet caramel malts - though the hops win out. Good but not great. Easy enough to drink with well hidden ABV.
