The beer pour a nice and creamy dark tan head that dissipates quickly. The beer itself is an opaque dark brown with notes of black. The smell has a strong coffee smell with a slight milk chocolate smell as well. The smell also a slightly roasted smell to it as well. The taste is a little bit different from the smell. The beer taste has the same notes as the smell but in different strength. The coffee notes are a bit weaker and there are greater roasted notes that come out and there also is milk chocolate taste. The mouthfeel is very smooth to the point where it is almost creamy and biting carbonation. Overall, a great cream stout and one I enjoy having every year.
