2015 edition. This beer pour a rich copper color with a medium sized head. The aroma leads with a whiff of citrus, followed by caramel, and mango. The flavor is more tropical fruit heavy than the aroma, and the caramel is strongly present. There is a touch of pine resin in the flavor as well. The mouthfeel is somewhat sticky. Overall this is a decent beer, but not one of my favorites this fresh hop season.

After having really enjoyed Moo Joo's, Hopsession, and Ring Neck, my expectations on this were pretty high, especially since it's a style of beer which I quite enjoy. Yet, it was significantly too bitter for my liking, with quite a lot of sour overripe fruit-flavor. I don't claim that this is a objectively bad beer, but personally, I could not get behind it. Does not feel like a fresh-hopped IPA at all, which was disappointing to me.

From a single into a nonic (no bottle date)
Pours a slightly hazy copper, with an off-white head with a minimal head and little retention or lacing. Bready and some crystal? malt, tea-like slightly overripe fruitiness and a little spiciness too. Doubt I'd guess this was fresh hops. Definitely on the malty side. Substantial body in feel...a little heavy in fact. Not bad.
