Sampled on draught in Venice, never again.
I ordered this because I remembered 1664 not being that bad from a previous trip to Italy. Well first, this is not 1664, and second it is bad.
Poured a golden yellow with a slight white head and lots of carbonation.
Aromas of corn, cheap malt, live stock feed grain, and cheap, stale hops. Not a skunk flavor, but definitely not inviting.
The aroma should have been the warning. If they don't use a ton of adjucts I'm not sure what went wrong. Tastes of corn, underroasted malt, and stale hops. Very watery. Better than Burger Light, but worse than Bud Light IMHO. They could do a lot to improve this beer. Choose better quality ingredient, change their brewing process, and I'm sure there are other things that would help as well.

Can of kronenbourg purchased for 1.40 euros. Served cold into a glass.
Appearance - moderately aggressive pour yielded about two fingers of white head which exceeds into a small cap relatively quickly. Clear pale golden straw color and some lively bubbles.
Smell - somewhat land, basic grainy and lightly grassy aroma, with just a touch of flowery notes.
Taste - bland and inoffensive light grassy flavor and not a lot else.
Mouthfeel - fizzy with lively carbonation and moderately dry finish. Not spectacular.
Overall - ok beer that I think seems to taste better in France when it's freshest. Works well for quenching thirst.

A: Crystal clear amber gold with white head, nice lace and good retention.
S: Lightly roasted caramel malt aromas.
T: Nutty, bread, caramel and toffee flavors. Low hop profile.
M: Light bodied, smooth and nicely carbonated.
O: Decent brew that tastes better on French soil.
