Kronenbourg 1664 represents the fifth of six entries here in the Euro Invitational. I'm running out of ideas for clever introductions, so let's move on to the beer:
It's look and smell are nothing out of the ordinary for its style, but the flavor is a little deeper, most notably a pinch of extra hop flavor. The mouthfeel is also a litte more firm too. Overall, it's a solid selection and better than many trendy Euro Lagers, like Stella Artois.
Another solid entry in the competiton, but Bass Pale Ale remains in the lead. But will it hold off the last entry, Birra Moretti's La Rossa, for the grand prize of the competition? We'll find out soon.
