A: clear yellow gold with one inch white foamy head

S: sourdough grain, sweet malt, faint floral hops

T: like the nose, taste is very grainy. pretty clean on the tongue, finishes with a nice kiss of bitterness.

M: light body. crisp carbonation. dry finish

D: nice combination of flavor and drinkability. it's like heineken but tastier and cleaner. i could throw quite a few of these back.

Poured a gold color with not as much head as u might think for the style.Kind of a malty/bread like smell but not much to it,taste was kinda skunky but the smell wasnt so I think it was the natural taste.Realy nothing special here I wouldnt buy again for sure.

Golden pour with a medium head. Absent nose, almost no detectable aromas. Very, very, very dull taste. Not much in the way of flavour. Purely a smooth and creamy beer. Easy drinking, no taste. Nice mouthfeel howvever and i think it's a decent but not "good" summertime beer.

Appearance – Light yellow in color, like a yellow highlighter, with a very nice-looking head that showed some good retention and left some awesome Belgian lacing on the inside of my glass.

Smell – Oh, something stinks in the State of France. The grain here is rough and rigid and is infected with some nasty-ass sugars. There’s some light fruity hopping that tries to cover its tracks but there’s no hiding this smell.

Taste – It tastes better than it smells but it still sucks. The grain and sugar stomp the few other smaller flavors leaving this one tasting like a cheap American macro.

Mouthfeel – This Lager is actually kind of smooth in the mouth and tries to be drying at the finish, but to no avail. It is a bit bigger than light-bodied and the nice mouthfeel kept it from getting dumped.

Drinkability – The only reason I didn’t pour this down the sink is because I just worked out and ate a bag of Funions so I’m friggin’ thirsty.

Yellow piss color, lighter than the regular Kronenbourg and less skunky too, although the bottles of this stuff that I’ve had in the states are just ridiculously skunky. This one is similar to Busch but with some of the better aspects of Stella mixed in for fruity measure. Finish is slightly acidic and hopped. Clean and crisp. Almost as good as Budweiser.

Free cans in the airport lounge of Charles de Gaulle outside Paris. Why not?

A: a very gold/amber, a light foam ring with hints of lacing.

S: very malt heavy. hops are an afterthought.

T: again the malts take center stage, but beyond this, there is much lacking in flavor.

MF/D: very flat in taste, though that may be due to the can. the flavors (what little there are) do not linger long on the tastebuds.

A- Nothing exciting, it looks like a European pilsner, extremely light in color with a small quickly fading head.

S- Again nothing to get excited about. A bit of pilsner sweetness but only just. Nothing off and a light amount of grassy hop character if I really stretch for it.

T- Stronger than the nose but still simple and balanced. Some grassy hops with a tiny hint of spice to them and the pilsner sweetness. Not too different from an American macro but no adjuncts or off flavors. A bit of skunk but lighter than I expected, especially compared to other skunky-corn euros like Heineken and Urquell. This is more in the range of a Yeungling and that's something to relish, and without the corn characteristic of American green bottled lagers this is definitely a prize.

M- Light and and watery as expected but not overly carbed and it goes down just as easily as it should.

D- There is no reason why I would go out of my way to buy this when it tastes like most all barley lagers, but as far as Euro lagers go this is one of the better ones.

12 oz slender green bottle with no freshness date.

Appearance: Decent lacing to being with then it slowly dissipates, good golden clarity showing some effervescence.

Smell: Clean graininess with some sweet tones, grass hop is the major aroma though there is a hint of solvent alcohol in the back.

Taste: Herbal and grassy hop with a light honey and doughy graininess to match. Alcohol is there, clean yet a touch of solvent. Long lingering hop flavour with a drying grain to boot.

Mouthfeel: Deeply lined crispness, real nice on the tongue as it rolls off with a smooth dry moderate body.

Drinkability & Notes: Very refreshing as I could put down more than just a couple. Simple and clean with a kick of hops and slight slap of alcohol. This one brings back memories and I am glad they are making an other push into the US market as this puts other mass produced Euro-lagers to shame.

On tap at Filthy McFadden's in Kingston - reviewed from notes of spurious quality.

Appearance: Gold colour with lots of lacing and good head retention. Everything normal here.

Smell: Very lagery and slightly herbal. Otherwise thin in this department.

Taste: Nice, for the style, and as the umpteenth beer of the night in a smoky Irish pub. Bitter hops taste permeates, with an underlying blanket of fresh snow on the palate.

Mouthfeel: Effervescent and full of life. Half way between drinking garbage water and liquid silk.

Drinkability: Poor. I didn't even feel like finishing this beer, let alone several. I got sick of it early, even though it's pretty good for the style. Give me something with a bit more substance instead.

Had this beer in a bottle at Gualart & Maliclet (a french cafe) in Charleston, SC.

The beer is a clear yellow/gold with a thick, dense white head. It was highly carbonated and carbonation was visible in the glass.

The smell was sweet, like white grapes or apples. Reminded me of champagne.

It is light bodied, mild in flavor. The flavor starts light and sweet with a very slight bitterness at the end, but is quickly off the tongue.

This beer is representative of French food and culture in general. With the beer, as in their cuisine, flavors are much more subtle than in America.

Appearance: 1 inch head, clear, straw yellow, high carbonation.

Smell: wheat, grass, almost at the start of skunking

Taste: wheat, grass, a touch of sugar

Mouthfeel: high carbonation, light bodied, watery, slightly sweet with a bit of skunk

Drinkability: Average Euro pale lager that I am not likely to get again. I love the glass, unfortunately not the beer. I would not turn this down if offered to me but will not likely pick up again.

Pours a very clear macro yellow with a white head. The aroma is basic macro with some hops in it. The flavor is more basic macro with some grassy hops in the finish. Thin mouthfeel and medium carbonation. One of the better beers I have had in this style. I was worried about skunking due to the green bottle but this one survived alright. Not a beer I would like to have again, but not terrible either.

Opened 12 fluid ounce bottle, poured into Pilsner.

Pours a bubbly head of 2-3" that retains quite well. Brew is pale yellow with bubbles rising. Plenty of lacing on glass.

Smell is typical green bottle skunk disappears with light grainy malt smell. Taste is non-discript, but not bad. Some grain and malts - Flows really nice in the mouth and has a decent mouth feel, but nothing outstanding.

All in all, a decent beer - worth a try.
