picked up a sixer on a recent trip to Vancouver from the strip mall down the street from the Biltmore Cabaret. poured into pint glass.
pours a pale yellow, 1/2" white head with slippery, minimal lacing. damn bubbly, pretty standard.
smells of mighty, mighty hops and barley. doughy, the "skunky" vibe "green" bottle beers tend to get associated with the bourgeoisie is there.
interesting twang to the taste, perhaps from the hop/barley infusion, sort of floral. other than that, not much there. thin, "skunky" (for lack of a better term) aftertaste.
smooth and refreshing brew. damn good cold. it's own twist because it's French, I suppose. they like to have their own twists.
