Three fingers of head. Fairly clear, medium straw colored body.
Aroma is a pleasant pine, citrus and floral smell.
A strong bitter taste, pine mostly. A dry effect.
Crisp texture, moderate carbonation and medium body.
A solid APA, strong on the bitterness.

Bottled: unk

Dusky amber with a persistent finger of light toasted cream foam. Smells faintly of amber malts and english hops. Tea character. Flavor is cardboard oxidation and some sweet malt. Some muted bitterness. Pretty severer oxidation. Medium bodied with moderate carb and off dry finish. I feel like this one is old, but it's hard to tell sans date system....

Pours five+ finger cream head that fades very slowly, leaving a good lace. Hazy amber color. Good carbonation and medium bodied. Pine and earthy hop nose and flavor is caramel with a hop backbone. Light lingering bitter finish. $2.99 for a 22 oz bottle.

Poured from tap into pint glass at Nano-brew festival PDX.

Overall a decent pale ale. Pours with classic hue, good head but lacking lace and retention. Lots of malts and hops on the nose, pretty straightforward.

On the palate more hops and malts, though well integrated with some good richness. The beer is nicely balanced. Overall everything works, but there is really nothing to make it stand out from the dozens of other pale ales more readily available. Worth a shot if you want to try it for yourself.

A: cloudy golden yellow/orange hue, delightful lacing

S: clean grain, earthy

T: sweet grain, earthy middle, mild bitter dry finish

M: med. body, prickly tongue, hint of sticky feel, semi-dry

O: Another fine Oregon beer. Nice grassy/earthy big pale ale.
Dare I say, sipper or BIG session beer.

Poured from a bomber into an imperial pint glass

A- a very nice hazy golden, almost bock-like color. Very small head and not much lacing

S- a very clean sweet malt with the slightest hint of an earthy/floral hop

T- matches the smell, but with a very nice and super subtle earthy hop bitterness.

M- along with the nose and taste, it is a very clean mouthfeel. Very crisp, but full, and leaves very little lingering taste

D- great sessionable beer for those looking for a crisp golden ale. I'm a huge hophead, and I could down several of these, especially on a hot summer day, if I'm not in the mood for a bitter beer.

This would be a great beer for someone who is trying to get into craft beer, and usually drinks beers along the lines of MGD, Bud, etc... It's not going to wreck their palates, but it is going to show them how much better a well crafted beer tastes!

A - Hazy golden-honey amber with suspended yeast and a surging three-finger off-white head that actually extrudes out beyond the top of the glass with no problem, nary a drop rolling down the outside of the glass. The head then settles to a impressively detailed topography with meringue-like consistency. Thick sheeting sticky lace hangs around the glass.

S - Assertive aroma had a certain bite and sweetness all at once, with pine, earthy green herbs, citrus zest, malt, and a certain something I can't quite place, slightly reminiscent of latex paint, but not in a bad way (I wish I could put my finger on that...).

T - Big all around--malty, hoppy, grainy... tasty. Nice pricky bitterness with a full malt body. Flavors of earthy grass, citrus, whole grain bread, and caramel.

M - Moderate to full with nice effervescent carbonation.

D - Awesome... a great take on an APA. It definitely has its own character.
