the Hoppy smell right from the glass lets you know that you are about to have a great beer. Mostly have had it on draft but have also had it in the bottle. Can't wait for harvest to come when there is a fresh hop version.
LM has the taste and smell of all the great hoppy beers. There are many great California
beers and I would compare it to some of the best!

A: good looking iipa. Creamy white head that sits for a bit. Translucent. Rich golden color.
S: maybe it's my allergies but I can't really smell anything. I give it a 3.25 because it doesn't smell BAD, but doesn't smell like anything at all.
T: hop overload! Hoppiness hits the side and malty ness hits the front of the tongue. It's a raw hoppiness too. Tastes unfiltered. Seems to get a little flat after a couple degrees warmer.
M: pretty good. Pretty smooth despite the how hoppy it is.
O: quality iipa. Not entirely complex, but sometimes a hop-sledge is what you want. It's great as a hop monster.

On tap at Fire Artisan Pizza downtown Coeur d'Alene. Poured a beautiful hazy orange with an inch of a mostly white head.
S: Very citrusy, fruity, fresh smell. Have definitely smelled better DIPA's but this one wasn't too bad.
T: Amazing, everything you want in a DIPA, 9% and alcohol was very well hidden. Tasted so fresh and fruity, grapefruit/orange/slight malt. Decently bitter. This is an excellent tasting DIPA.
M: Lightly carbonated, very smooth, hop bites your tongue.
O: Try this, on draft it was awesome. One of the best DIPA's I have had to this date. Beer Valley did a great job with this beer.

A - Nice light amber color. Finger or two head.
S - Kinda bready, which I wasn't expecting. Hoppy too. Piney and floral.
T - Nice hop forward taste with some malt and bread mixed in. Not really what I was expecting but I like it. Piney hop lingers long after.
M - Light and nice carbonation.
O - Nice DIPA. Not what I thought it would be but that's not a bad thing. Piney hop mixed with bread. I just wasn't expecting the bread taste. Give it a try if you come across it. Cheers!

Pours a half finger of head on a cloudy straw colored body.
The aroma is lemon, pine and spruce. Quite nice.
The taste is a dry moderate bitterness with a good malt backup to balance it out nicely.
The texture is crisp with moderate carbonation.
A big beer but very drinkable and tasty.
