Pours a rich amber color with a off-white lace for a head. Nice bubbley carbonation. Smells sweet and nutty with some caramel and a little hop backgrownd. Taste very clean with roasted malts a touch of caramel and a bit of hops in the aftertaste. Meduim-light mouthfeel. I must say I am impressed. I live 15 minutes away from this brewery (My profile says greenville but that is were I just go to school). A very tasty red lager.

12oz bottle from GCBrewingCo as part of BIF 20. Best by date of 11/3/04, oops. Thanks for the opportunity.
Poured into an imperial pint glass, formed a 1/2" off-white head above the light amber brew. Head fades rather quickly, but leaves large areas of foamy lacing. Aroma is wet grains and some fruitiness. Taste is light grain husks, with the lightest of sour fruitiness, and a crisp close. Probably better fresh, I will admit. Mouthfeel is smooth and creamy, and drinkability is great as well, even at this stage of its life. Nice brew.

Kind of suprised by this beer. It is light copper in color. Fairly decent head on it. I do get a bit of caramel in the aroma. Also some malt sweetness and hops. Similar tastes. The beer is very smooth and well rounded, with a slight bitterness at the end. Overall, a pretty decent offering.
