Stopped here to pick up some local NC beers. Typical grocery store and the beer is located in the rear of the store. Pretty large open refridgerator section with all the typical mass produced beer, but there were some local beers from Carolina, Lonerider, Aviator, Duck-Rabbit, and Natty Greene. Not a huge selection, but good enough to buy a few sixpacks. There were some other beers from New Belgium, Stone, Sierra nevada, Chimay, and Sam Adams. The area was also very clean.

Typical grocery store without much help in the area, but the checkout folks were friendly. Prices were also reasonable IMHO. This is definitely a place to pick up some local beers, but don't expect anything rare or hard to get here - just the standards.

Harris Teeter is not very hard to find at all tucked into the niche between US 1 and 12-201 in Southern Pines/Aberdeen. I wish someone would explain where the boundaries of the two cities are since to me they appear to be one and the same.

The beer is to the back right and all the beer is in the cold case. While the shelves are full with BMC you can see Chimay and some other Belgians as well as local fare such as Carolina out of Holly Springs. There are other more widely distributed beers on the shelves and all appeared well cared for, but it was difficult to tell if they were stagnant or selling. The service was pure grocery store (meaning none).

This is one of the few places for craft beer in town so it is a place to seek out. In larger cities it might not make the BeerFly cut however.
