Not a remarkable beer by any means. Little to no head retention when poured into a glass, and the beer itself is an odd shade of yellow straw. Inoffensive macro-brew style odor.
Mouthfeel is a bit limp, but the taste is fuller and more developed than most macro-style light beers. Drinkability is thru the roof. You'll be thru a sixer before you know it. Does not have the adverse day-after affects associated with a lot of the other macro-style beers.
This is not a great beer, but it is a very good alternative for those times when you want to save a little bit of money and still have a crowd-pleaser. Football gatherings, working in the garage, etc..
I used to think that Koch's Golden Anniversary was the best inexpensive beer out there. Lionshead Light takes that banner at just $10 a case.

When trying this beer I poured from a cold bottle into a chilled glass. Lion Head Light is an under appreciated beer coming in at roughly $13 per case.
You get a light amber color which is crystal clear and typical of light Ales. The aroma reminds you of movie theater popcorn, which can be good or bad, depends on what you like.
Coming in at 3.9% ABV, this is a respectable number, considering the price. Taste is quite powerful for a "light" ale and can be quite pleasing to your pallet. Although the only taste you get is of hops and that "hint" of popcorn, this beer does not suffer from the watered down effect that most light beers fall under
Overall I like this beer alot and I appreciate what it does for the price
And as an added bonus if the games you are playing suck you can always solve the riddles provided on the bottle cap.

Served in a can at This Little Piggy Likes Roastbeef in New York, NY
A: Pours a deep golden yellow in color with moderate amounts of visible carbonation. The beer has about a finger tall fizzy white head that reduces to small patch of very thin film near the center of the beer.
S: The beer has aromas of bready malts with just a hint of corn adjunct along with some light notes of floral and grassy hops.
T: Light to moderate flavors of bready malts with some notes of corn as well. There is a light bitterness which does not linger contributed from the hops and just a touch of citrus rind.
M: Just slightly heavier than light bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Slightly thin/watery.
O: Super easy to drink and a definite session beer. Refreshing and pairs very well with lots of meaty sandwiches - probably would be great for a cook out.
