Another local hometown brew, reviewed this awhile ago on another site and wanted to add a beer to this site.
A: Pours a clear, light golden amber color with less then a fingers worth of head, whic dissipates to a thin layer for lacey head that sticks around til about halfway down.
S: Pretty aromatic with alot of malts as well as the honey and some fruit esthers. Aromas become more prominent as the beer warms, and the sweet fruityness becomes more distinct.
T: Nice malt flavor coming thru and then the sweetness of the honey. Def. alot of citrus and bitter citrus zest and rind coming thru. There's also a spiceyness at the end that leads to a bitterness as well. Not unpleasant, almost reminds me of a thin hop bitterness.
M: Medium carbonation makes the bitterness and spiceyness pop out at ya. Kinda of takes away from the sweetness of the honey though. Leaves a crisp clean after taste that is enjoyable as well.
O: Well balanced spicey spring beer. Worth trying in the springtime and i'd love to try this one on tap.
