A great place to eat first of all. Not a place you're going to at 2 in the morning for a beer, but with the selection that they have to offer in this city it's going to grade high for the city. Lots of beer on tap, lots of beer in bottles. They have a closet with all sorts of beer in it and idk if they were purchasable or not but I did see bell's 6000 and 7000 in it. So they know good craft beer. Had Hopslam on tap on my last visit with other options available from Bell's. Saw New Holland, Mad Anthony and Upland available as well as your run of the mill Sam Adams, Sierra Nevada, etc. Definitely worth a visit. Great food. Cold Beer.

Glad to see Dicky's putting some good beers on tap. I think they have slowly dipped their toe into the micro-beer pool and the results must be decent because last time they had Gumballhead and Hopslam on tap. That's a pretty potent 1-2 punch. Bottle selection looked pretty diverse as well. I've always enjoyed the food here and nothing has changed. It's more of a restauarant then a bar so don't swing by late at night expecting a beer. Fort Wayne continues to impress with the increased awareness to quality beer. It's a trend I hope continues.

Dicky's Wild Hare is located on Maplecrest Rd near Georgetown in the old Munchie Emporium location. The inside looks very similar to the old Munchie days with the addition of some bamboo wall coverings and the removal of some of the " junk " that used to hang on the walls.
The tap selection on my visit included Bells Two Hearted ,Bells Porter, and Three Floyds Gumball Head, as well as Guinness, Bass and the rest of the usual suspects. $4.00 for a 16 oz pint, $4.50 for a 22 ouncer.
The bottle selection was not bad at all for Ft Wayne, Rogue Dead Guy Ale, assorted Bells, Samuel Smith, Goose Island and Ft Wayne's own Warbird selections, as well as Anchor Steam, Warsteiner Dunkel, and several other worthwhile brews.
The food was a big improvement over the Munchie days, I had an above average BBQ brisket sandwich, the wife had some decent, for the midwest, crab cakes. I am looking forward to trying some more of their BBQ selections. Prices were reasonable.
Dicky's Wild Hare is another establishment showing there is some hope for the beer scene in Ft Wayne. Recommended.
Edit 2/8/14 : After a management change the place has gone downhill. Still have a decent beer selection, but the once fantastic food is now pitiful.
