Visited for the first time on 1/20/09, now called Triple P Sports Bar with a sign out front stating that the place is "under new management". It looked as though some of the aesthetics had been redone or touched up and there looked to be plenty of space and a large bar area. Nice and relaxed atmosphere and typical for an early weeknight. They had 16 taps, DFH 60 Minute, Harpoon IPA, Harpoon UFO, Magic Hat #9, Narragensett, Sam Adams, Sam Adams Seasonal, Sam Adams Cherry Wheat, New Castle, Stella Artois, Miller Lite, Bud, Bud Light, Widmer Hefeweizen, AB Winter Bourbon Cask Ale and a Woodchuck Cider. Not the best selection but a few good options. There were some signs for bottle specials on some similar beers to what was on-tap. I won't get into whether or not it's a "beer bar" or if it should be listed on this site, but if I didn't live down the street, I probably wouldn't go back there unless there was an interesting event going on (promotion, band, etc). However, it is nice to know that there's a place within walking distance where I can get something good on-tap.
