Hazy orange glow with a thick lumpy white head on top that leaves behind some nice sheets of lace. Pale fruit esters, green grassy hops, light bubblegum, banana, and a powdery sweetness in the nose. Similar characteristics in the flavor...soild young hoppy bitterness, spicy citrus rind and fresh orange pulp. Mmmm...not the best hopped-up Beligan beer I've had, but very solid. Some cracker-like maltiness. Pretty damn bitter and sort of astringent. Medium bodied with a nice crispness. I like it...good job mixing it up with the IPA series.

Poured from a growler, filled about an hour ago
A: Golden yellow under a frothy, slightly creamy head. Some spotty lace and decent retention.
S: A bit typical of a Belgian ale, nice fruitiness, banana, hit of citrus, every so slightly funky. A bit of piney hop presence but not huge.
T: Definitely get some hops in the taste, mostly bitter. Sweet, a little funky, some mild citrus fruit, a hint of a peppery spice and then a big bitter finish. Mostly a piney hop mixed in with a yeasty funk. Pretty nicely done. Alcohol is very slightly apparent.
M/D: Very nice mouthfeel, carbonation is low and may have been lost due to a vigorous pour. Body is light to medium. Very nice drinkability as well. A well done version of a still developing style by a brewery in North Carolina. Can't complain about that.

Looks just how it should. Nice white creamy and bubbly head, delectable lace, and a pretty golden-coppery-orange color. Aroma is smoothly citrusy with soft spices, a lot of bubblegum, phenols, various tropical fruits, wild flowers, banana bread and sugar cookies, and slightly apparent ethanol. Additionally there is some nice refreshing lemon zest-like qualities as well. Taste has a lot of nice subtleties. Sweet, spicy, hoppy, fresh doughy bread, gum, all delicately blended into a syrupy, smooth, evenly but solidly bitter Belgian IPA-like concoction. Drinkable for sure. I'd suck it down but I like taking the time to smell it first.
Good thing I got a growler-full.

On-tap at Horniblow's Tavern.
Pours a golden-peach color with a pronounced cloudiness that lives up to the Belgian name. A sandy-taupe head retains well and leaves an impressive tapestry of lacing along the inside of the pint glass. The aroma is nothing short of bliss, pegging the style completely, as fruity yeast esters of banana, pineapple, and mango combine effortlessly with citric, grassy hops and biscuity malts.
The flavor starts out promising, with a plethora of spicy, grassy hop notes coating the palate. Belgian malts provide a solid backbone, but get overshadowed by the citrus hoppiness that borders on becoming astringent, but retreats in the nick of time. Mouthfeel is medium-bodied and crisp, with a lively carbonation level that draws out some of the more subtle Belgian spices and yeast notes. High Roller IV lives up to the standard set by the Big Boss High Roller lineup, and would do well as a continuous release (ditch the Hell's Belle and bottle this, fellas!).

Served a nice hazy pale orange with a nice frothy head that diminishes to a ring and leaves only spotty lacing on the glass. The aroma is a nice blend of sweet malts, citrus hops and Belgian yeast. The taste is an absolutely wonderful blend of citrus hops, sweet malts and spice, orange peel makes a large presence. The beer is medium bodied with slight alcohol presence and decent carbonation. This is a wonderful American version of the style, quite possibly the closest to Houblon Chouffe I've had yet.
